La S15D cuenta con dos módulos de sensor conectados a la carcasa que se instala de forma oculta mediante un cable de hasta
dos metros de longitud. La última tecnología en sensores de imagen de 5MP aumenta la frecuencia de vídeo y la ampliación
de imágenes en vivo. La resolución QXGA máxima del módulo de sensor (más de 2,5 veces más detallada que la Full-HD)
también se puede aplicar a las imágenes grabadas sin ningún tipo de carga de red. Con una fotosensibilidad mejorada, la
cámara ofrece excelentes imágenes en color incluso al atardecer. Por la noche, se utiliza un módulo de sensor de blanco y
negro con resolución QXGA.
